There is now only 1 town with a population over 25,000 that doesn't have a dedicated performance venue. With your help, we can change that situation for Kernersville.
Krossroads Playhouse wants to build a dedicated performance venue and call it Kernersville Justice Theater to harken back to both the old downtown J.T. Justice Theater AND Korner's Folly. We are designed and set up to assist playwrights, performers, and artists see their work on stage. Ticketing and advertising are just some of the areas where we can help. Together we will bring theatre to Kernersville and beyond.
Recapturing Kernersville's Theatrical Legacy
Kernersville was once famous for having America's first private little theater in Körner's Folly. Jules Körner used his home for both entertaining and entertainment. Polly Alice Körner wanted to bring culture to the town and help the youth become better people through the arts.
Krossroads Playhouse wants to honor that legacy by creating a dedicated live performance venue in downtown Kernersville.
