Katie Jo Icenhower
Founder / Executive Director
Over thirty years experience in all things theatre is what Katie Jo brings to Krossroads Playhouse. From children to Seniors, from tech to stage, she has the knowledge and drive to make things happen.
Scott Icenhower
Founder / Board President
Scott has a background in finance and is a published playwright. His background in theatre is a core strength for Krossroads Playhouse.
Kelly McGuire Hargett
Board Treasurer
Kelly is the Executive Director for the Kernersville Museum. Her experience in leading a successful nonprofit is invaluable. Not to mention her love for Kernersville and wanting to see it grow.
Christian Schoeder
Board Member
Christian is the Director of Sales & Services for Visit Winston-Salem. He brings an economic development, operations, and sales background to the Playhouse. He also is steeped in theatre.
Debbie Shoffner
Vice President
Debbie's background in storm-water management and pretty extensive theatre background makes her a well rounded member of the board and quite capable of helping us reach the goals of Krossroads Playhouse.
Alicia Grant
Board Member
Alicia is an assistant vice president and Branch Manager for Truist Bank. (Formerly BB&T)
Her financial acumen and community connections will benefit Krossroads Playhouse in all its endeavors.
Kathy Cissna
Board Member
Kathy is a retired Director of RAI Services, but she is also a long-time advocate of local theatre. She knows all aspects of theatre from performance, to stage management, to being on a non-profit board as she was on the board of Kernersville Little Theatre for many years. Her wisdom, experience, and leadership skills make her a welcome addition to the Krossroads Playhouse board.
Kristen Skidmore
Board Member
Kristen earned a Bachelor's in Theater Education from Brigham Young University and brought imagination and stories to life as an Entertainment Manager for the Walt Disney Company for the past 10 years. Her experience and passion for education, storytelling and using the arts to inspire is what brought her to want to work with Krossroad's Playhouse to make the dream of a theater in Kernersville a reality.
